He is a painter and performance artist. He planned the Peaceful Unification of Korea Eurasian Railway Crossing Project and served as its travel director. He also participated as a member of the World Peace Art Travel Europe Exploration Team and worked as the general curator for the 1st Busan Port International Performing Arts Festival. Currently, he is serving as the president of the Korea Performance Aratists Association. Through performance art, he consistently advocates for world peace.

He has been working on pieces that explore themes such as the relationship between nature, food, and humanity.
Recently, his practice has focused on questions of identity, including the nature of the self, the rational self, the self as perceived by others, and the self as recognized by others.He conveys his thoughts, emotions, and rational reflections through diverse artistic media—including painting, installation, performance, video, and light—transforming abstract ideas into concrete visual expression. He has held six solo exhibitions in South Korea, France, the United States, and China. He was an invited artist for an installation at the Gwangju Biennale and for a performance at the Busan Biennale, among other events. In addition, he has participated in numerous exhibitions of painting, installation, performance art, video performance, and light art festivals.

He was born in Korea in 1954 and joined the Korean Photographers’ Association in 1988. Since first encountering performance art in 2002, he has developed a unique role as both a friend and supporter of performance artists, becoming known as a photographer who knows how to engage with artists on stage. He has become a natural supporter of performance art, blending into groups of artists while cultivating his own artistic literacy and ways of thinking.
With a deep understanding of installation and performance art, he photographs with insight, often participating in residency programs alongside artists and at times even appearing as an auxiliary performer.

She is a performance artist and a practitioner of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 34, the Gangryeong Mask Dance. She began acting in theater during her teenage years and pursued a career as an actor. In 2004, she expanded her focus to performance art and traditional mask dance, marking her official entry into the broader artistic field.
She consistently seeks authentic communication as both process and outcome in art, fostering a genuine connection with the audience. She also explores the deconstruction of artistic genres and the integration of diverse forms, planning and directing a variety of projects and performances.

As an experimental artist working across installation, performance, and sculpture, UG explores the relationships between nature, food, and humanity. His practice has long sought to connect social realities with the human inner world in sensuous and thought-provoking ways.
Based in Korea, UG has actively presented his work on international stages, including Europe, and held his 14th solo exhibition in Berlin in 2024. He expands art beyond simple visual expression, using it as a tool of action, communication, and healing within society. His work emphasizes exchange and collaboration with artists from diverse disciplines, while continuously creating with a renewed sense and spirit of the times.
