The name, Be Water, derives from a famous quote by Bruce Lee, "Be Water, My Friend". Lee was a famous martial artist, movie star, and founded the martial art Jeet Kune Do, a form of Chinese Kung Fu, as well as a hybrid philosophy of martial arts.
